If you haven't used kanekalon to make dreads in the past here's a little guide to knowing how many packets of hair you will need! Please keep in mind that each user is going to vary in outcome of how many dreads they can make out of one packet because of thickness in the dreads. My personal average is between 7-9 medium thickness dreads per packet.  

To make sure you get the most dreads out of your hair packets, you should keep the hair unfolded neatly together so that it doesn't tangle and become unusable. It's always a good idea to buy more packets than you need the first few times you make dreads to compensate for any dreads that you may mess up on, or for getting the hair tangled before being able to separate it and use it.  To learn more about how to make your own custom dreadfalls, please check out my tutorials page!
